“They worked with us to create our vision of how we wanted our kitchen.
They were very professional and kept us informed. Took great care keep the work area from interfering with the rest of the house, dust etc. They took the time to do things right. Highly recommend them.”
After hearing a neighbor praise their work, I called the company and had a very helpful conversation with Kelly, who then directed me to Bryn Hanover. He came to our home, observed Covid precautions, and discussed our wishes with patience and insight. Very promptly we heard back from Bryn with a reasonable estimate, and to the day we were promised, the demo work began in our kitchen. Demo, we discovered, is very messy work, but Austin Ellis took the time to seal off our kitchen, and everyone was very careful to contain the mess and clean up on a daily basis. Austin was our main communicator, and he kept us updated every day as to who would be working in our home and what tasks were going to be performed. He’s a hard worker and pays great attention to detail.
When it came time to finally begin to build back our kitchen, I was very impressed with Dan Smith’s expertise both at tiling and at problem-solving. He is a true artist when it comes to tile, and he was a great project manager. I always felt we were in good hands with Dan at the helm. He’s a perfectionist, and I always felt he worked on our home like he’d work on his own. We plan to have some more work done in our home in the future, and we plan to ask for Dan Smith to be the project manager.
Although Dan and Austin worked more in our home than others, everyone from Scott Hall was professional, very knowledgeable, respective of our home, patient with our questions, and friendly. The best recommendation we can give Scott Hall Remodeling is that we would recommend them to a friend and that we’d have them back to our home to do another project. And we’d do both.”
I will add further pictures once painting is done 😉

I will set some expectations upfront and these don’t apply to just Scott Hall. Do not expect workers to be on-site every single day. It is a real challenge to schedule the different trades to come into the site. Because of this, there may be some days where nothing happens. My wife wasn’t too happy when that happened, but it is the reality of any construction project. One other warning. It takes many weeks to go from making a decision on who to use and the beginning of the project. If a contractor is available immediately, you need to think about why that is. We had to wait a few months to get Scott Hall to our home but it was worth the wait!
Overall, we couldn’t be any happier with Scott Hall. If I could give 10 stars I would!”
“I shoot Architecture/Commercial spaces for a living. I see my share of remodel projects on a daily basis. Scott Hall Remodeling’s projects never disappoint. The attention to detail is second to none. Plus, Scott Hall’s clients are always saying positive things about the entire process. I highly recommend.”
“We’ve worked with Scott Hall Remodeling twice so far– once back in 2010 to remodel a full bathroom at our old house, and again in 2018 to finish the basement at our current house. They might cost somewhat more than your run of the mill contractor, but in return you get a group of reliable professionals who will provide you with an excellent end product. With our basement project in particular, the quality of the work down there is higher than our first and second floors! Our house is a new build (built in 2016), and on hindsight we wish Scott Hall had built our entire house! They also stay mostly on schedule with their projects, which seems to be a rarity in the construction industry.
We especially loved working with our basement project crew– if you are planning on doing a project with Scott Hall, be sure to ask for Bryn, Joe, and Andrew!”
“Scott Hall Remodeling did a fantastic job updating our kitchen and bath. They finished on time, within budget and the work was outstanding. If I ever need to have tile installed again, I will only have Dan from SHR do it. His work is phenomenal!! The carpenter (Joe) and plumber (Steve) do outstanding work as well. All three were very professional, very courteous, and just nice people to have around. I will definitely hire SHR for any future project that I may have.”
“We hired Scott Hall Remodeling to remodel our upstairs bathroom. I’m very handy but this is a house built in the early 1900s and it was extremely complicated. We are extremely thrilled with the results.
Our great experience with them led us to have them back to do several more projects including a major downstairs renovation which involved tearing out several walls and redesigning a major portion of the downstairs including a kitchen and adding a downstairs bathroom as a part of that project.
We LOVE our new downstairs and working with SHR made us feel like we were always in good hands.“
“Scott Hall Remodeling did a huge job in our early 20th century home. We had a very small master bathroom and large master closet as part of an addition by the previous owners. Scott and his team combined those two rooms into a spacious and luxurious master bath and created a new master closet from poorly used space in another room.
While their work is absolutely top-notch, what we found sets them apart is that Scott’s team does an outstanding job of planning, project management, and communication. While we could possibly have gotten a similar level of finish from someone else, I have a hard time believing that anyone else could have handled the project as closely to schedule and with the amazing level of communication and ease of mind that we had with Scott Hall Remodeling.“
